Microsoft launches a contest for developers to promote and HTML5 IE9


Microsoft wants to get the most from the latest version of its browser Internet Explorer 9 ( IE9) and opt for the HTML5 standard. His intention is to deal with direct competitors like Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

To this end, the company has launched a competition for developers Dev Unpligged , which aims to encourage the development of IE9 and HTML 5.

As reported by the company on its official blog The competition distributed about 29,000 euros (40,000 dollars) in prizes and is intended for developers from all over the world strive to make the most of the HTML5 standard and thus enhance the capabilities of Internet Explorer 9.

For the contest have decided to create two categories: games and music.
