Cruden and Rafael Leonardo Kohanoff INTI Centre for Health Technology and Disability with distinction awarded by the OAS

Rafael Kohanoff Engineer, Director of INTI Centre for Health Technology and Disability, received December 15, 2010, First Prize and Diploma of Honor by the "Technological and Social Productive Program: Construction of devices technical schools around the country and people with disabilities " in the Education category.

The program is run jointly by the INTI (National Institute of Industrial Technology), the NICD (National Institute of Technological Education) and CONADIS (National Advisory Committee for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities).

The award was received in Lima, Peru, in the context of the call to member countries of the OAS (Organization of American States) in the II INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS SUCCESSFUL INCLUSIVE 2010.

The OAS evaluate the contribution of the program "an inclusive culture that allows people with disabilities to achieve sustainable development. "

Technology in the Social Productive Program involves over 100 technical schools around the country building assistive devices for people with disabilities.

this program is promoted with the joint national, provincial and municipal levels and with the participation of actors from government agencies address disability issues in an active way in the concrete implementation of the fight against discrimination and social inclusion of all people with disabilities.
